Meet Cathy

I've been there...

I’m Cathy Eads certified Yoga Instructor, Meditation Guide, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor and Holistic Integrative Health Coach.

A little over a decade ago I was a 40 year old mother of three with a seriously ill child, six figures in credit card debt, my own health condition, and an unhealthy marriage that was slowly imploding.

Exhausted and emotionally drained, I felt like I was about to crash. During the chaos, I was able to release the stress, tame the anxiety and minimize flareups with gentle yoga, meditation and simple daily routines.

The crazier life got, the more I relied on these practices, and the more they helped me navigate the insanity with my wise mind in the driver’s seat. They pulled my racing, anxious, stressed out mind away from the madness around me and helped me find the quiet, calm, peacefulness inside that we often lose touch with when life gets really rough.

Yoga, meditation and simple daily routines were a lifeline that kept me from unraveling from the chaos of my life.

I took my personal practice further by completing my 200 hour yoga teacher training and Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor training. I’ve also studied Nervous System Rebalancing, Basic Pranic Healing, and Reflexology/Acupressure, and will complete my 300 Hour Yoga Therapeutics training in 2024.

Today, I help clients suffering the physical, mental and emotional affects of high stress by guiding you through these simple, powerful practices so you can feel more in control and handle whatever life sends your way.

Whether you have a high pressure career, are managing chronic conditions, or are experiencing major life transitions, the work we do together will take your mind away from it all and allow you to feel relaxed, to breathe easier, to take your anxious thoughts from rattling around your brain like an endless stream of pings on your phone to the soothing babble of a woodland stream.

My clients say that working with me is like having restorative mini-retreats interspersed throughout their everyday lives. I custom create your practices, and guide you through them, so you don’t have to think about what to do or when you’ll be able to fit them in.

What Makes Working With Me Special

  • Restorative and Rejuvenating Yoga: When most people think of yoga they picture headstands or people contorting themselves like pretzels. This is not the kind of yoga I teach or use with my clients. My approach to yoga is much more traditional and therapeutic. It flows at a gentle pace and challenges the body with strengthening holds rather than outrageous poses. My methods can be easily adapted to different body types, abilities, and needs. I have worked with clients in wheel chairs, and managing conditions like MS, lyme, arthritis, MCAS, hip replacement, chronic pain, balance & mobility challenges and more.
  • Holistic Balance: By incorporating a variety of holistic methods, you’ll experience more balance and strength in mind, body, and spirit. This translates to feeling better even you suffer from chronic conditions, pain, loss of flexibility from aging, or health challenges like headaches, digestive issues, or other discomforts.
  • Concierge Level Service: When you work with me I take ownership of your wellness practices, monitor your progress, and tailor our sessions to what you need at the moment. You won’t have to think about figuring out what yoga flows or poses would be best for you, or research Ayurveda, or spend hours on self care routines. I give you a plan to follow, and make sure that we are scheduled for convenient times (whether you are at work or at home) so you can always fit wellness into your day.
